Himalaya Kiran Public Campus is located at Khandbari-7, Shankhuwasabha Urban Municipality-1, Nepal. It was established in the year 2062 B.S.in affiliation with Purbanchal University recognizing the growing need for higher education and to impart strong academic program at affordable price in the district.
The academic journey of the campus started with three years BEd.(Bachelor of Education) with only 60 students in the year 2062/05/14.Later in the year 2062/08/14 it commence done year BEd.
Program with …… In 2069/05/12 two years MEd. (Master of Education) program with…. students. Today there are 205 number of students (3yrs BEd. = 156 and 1yr BEd.= 1 and Med. = 48) in total pursuing their higher education program at these levels. With the core belief that education is a key driver of change and development, the campus aims to provide quality and applied education through the optimum use of modern technologies. Moreover, to enhance students’ experience and capacity, it has been employing a team of experienced teachers engaged in diverse teaching techniques and approaches to support them acquire the necessary knowledge and skill for professional development, and pull off their fullest potential. Further, the Campus Management Committee (CMC) operates and coordinates with the Department Heads, Faculty Members as well as non-teaching staff at the campus to impart strong academic program. In general, the team spirit has been playing a major role for effective implementation of the educational activities under Himalaya Kiran Public campus.
In spite of all its continuous effort, in the absence of adequate financial support the campus is not being able to offer its students with adequate facilities that suit to deliver quality education for BEd. and MEd. program. However, it envisions and commits to transform Himalaya Kiran Public campus to a model of great standard in the district, well equipped with all the needed facilities and the physical structures that are suitable for higher learning including quality education comparatively at low fees.
